Portrait Commissions
Portrait paintings make thoughtful gifts for birthdays or anniversaries. They are a collaboration between artist and client. To successfully commission a portrait is to find the right artist for your taste and personality.
Depending on the size, setting, and complexity of the figures involved, commissions can take several months to a year to complete. The commissioning process starts with a discussion where I listen to what type and size of portrait a client would like before turning to the question of sittings or photographs.
